The weather is getting cold. Today let’s learn to cook the easiest Chinese chicken congee porridge recipe! It warms up your body immediately. Yummmy~
3 ounces of minced chicken
1 stalk of chopped scallions
4 cups of chicken stock
1 cup of cooked rice
3 tablespoons of oil
1/2 of a teaspoon of salt
A pinch of pepper
A dash of sesame oil
Heat a pot, add 3 tablespoons of oil, add 3 ounces of minced chicken, and cook until medium. Then add 1 stalk of chopped scallions and stir fry until the aroma comes out (I added the scallions after the minced chicken because I don’t want the scallions to turn brown). Add 4 cups of chicken stock and wait until boiled. Add 1 cup of cooked rice. Occasionally stir and cook for about 15 minutes until the rice is soft. Season it with 1/2 of a teaspoon of salt, a pinch of pepper, and a dash of sesame oil (I added the sesame oil last so the aroma of the sesame oil wouldn’t permeate while cooking).
