Today I’d like to share with you 2 ways to quickly regrow scallions. Soil VS water, which way is faster? Stay tuned!
1. Regrow scallions in soil
First, cut out the white part of scallions. (You can save the green part in the fridge.)
In a pot, I filled it up with potting mix. Plant the white part of the scallions in it. Leave some gaps in between.
Water daily.
Place it where it will receive about 6 hours of direct sunlight.
The perfect temperature for scallions is between 68 to 78 degrees F (20 to 26 degrees C)
2. Regrow scallions in water
First, cut out the white part of the scallions.
In a cup, add about 1 inch of water inside. Place the white part of scallions in the cup. Change the water every day.
Place it where it will receive about 6 hours of direct sunlight. The perfect temperature for scallions is between 68 to 78 degrees F (20 to 26 degrees C)

I like your videos. Grow in soil at home is the easiest. Just add some nutrients to soil as needed. Scallions are inexpensive, thus it’s more to grow it yourself. Keep up the good videos. 🙂
Many thanks, Edward! Happy cooking! 🙂
