Craving for something hot and spicy? I hope you can take the heat of my spicy chicken stir-fry!
1 lb of chicken
1 green bell pepper
3 cloves of garlic
3 dried red chilies
1 tbsp of Sichuan bean paste
Marinade
A dash of soy sauce
A pinch of salt
A pinch of white pepper
1/2 of an egg white
1 tsp of cornstarch + 1 tbsp of water
1 tbsp of oil
Sauce
1 tbsp of soy sauce
1 tbsp of oyster sauce
A dash of chili oil
A dash of Sichuan peppercorn oil
A pinch of white pepper
A pinch of Sichuan peppercorn powder
A pinch of sugar
Marinate 1 pound of chicken with a dash of soy sauce, a pinch of salt, a pinch of white pepper, 1/2 of an egg white,1 teaspoon of cornstarch and tablespoon of water, and 1 tablespoon of oil. Mix well. Wait for 30 minutes.
To make the sauce, combine 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce, a dash of chili oil, a dash of Sichuan peppercorn oil, a pinch of white pepper, a pinch of Sichuan peppercorn powder, a pinch of sugar.
In a hot pan, add 6 tablespoons of oil, cook the chicken until well done. Take it out and put aside.
With the excess of oil, cook the green bell pepper for about 30 seconds. Take it out and put aside.
In the same pan, introduce 3 cloves of garlic, 3 dried red chilies, 1 tablespoon of Sichuan bean paste. Add back the chicken and green bell pepper, and the sauce. Stir fry until is combined. Lastly, add 1 teaspoon of cornstarch and 1 tablespoon of water. Enjoy!
