8 Awesome Ways to Fold Dumplings at Home

1. Classic Dumpling 

Brush water around the edges of the wrapper. Add about 2 teaspoons of the filling in the center. Fold it in half, and pleat the edges together.

2. Ingot Dumpling 

Brush water around the edges of the wrapper. Add about 2 teaspoons of the filling in the center. Fold it in half. Tape some water at one of the bottom corners. Seal the two bottom corners together to form an ingot dumpling.

3. Red Envelope Dumpling 

Brush water around the edges of the wrapper. Add about 2 teaspoons of the filling in the center. Fold it in half. Fold the right corner inward, and tap some water on it. Fold the left side inward and seal to form a red envelope dumpling.

Brush water around the edges of the wrapper. Add about 2 teaspoons of the filling in the center. Pinch the edges across together. Seal the edges to form a four-pointed star.

7. Four-Happiness Dumpling 

Brush water around the edges of the wrapper. Add about 2 teaspoons of the filling in the center. Pinch the edges across together. Tap some water on every side, and seal them together to form a four-happiness dumpling.

8. Wallet Dumpling 

Brush water around the edges of the wrapper. Add about 2 teaspoons of the filling in the center. Gather and seal to form a wallet dumpling.
