Chicken and Broccoli Quick and Easy Recipe

Chicken and Broccoli is a super popular Chinese American dish. Now you can learn this in just 1 minute!

Chicken and Broccoli Ingredients:
1 pound of sliced chicken breast
1 pound of broccoli
5 slices of carrots
5 slices of ginger
2 stalks of scallion, white part
4 tablespoons of oil
1 teaspoon of corn starch with 2 tablespoons of water

Marinade:
A pinch of salt
4 tablespoons of water
1 tablespoon of soy sauce
1/2 egg white
1 teaspoon of corn starch with 2 tablespoons of water
2 tablespoons of oil

Sauce:
1 tablespoon of soy sauce
1 tablespoon of dark soy sauce
1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
A pinch of white pepper
A dash of sesame oil

  1. Slice 1 pound of chicken into thin slices. Add a pinch of salt and mix. Then add about 4 tablespoons of water and mix again, Then introduce a dash of soy sauce, 1/2 egg white, 1 teaspoon of corn starch with 2 tablespoons of water. Before adding into the pan, add 2 tablespoons of oil to prevent from sticking to the pan.
  2. In a small bowl, make the sauce: 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of dark soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce, a pinch of white pepper, a dash of sesame oil.
  3. In a pot, boil water, and blanch 1 pound of broccoli for 1 minute. Take it out and put aside.
  4. In a hot pan, add about 4 tablespoons of oil in the pan and wait until hot. Then put in the chicken pieces and cook till well done. Take it out and put aside. Drain the extra of oil.
  5. In the same pan, with the left over oil, add 5 slices of carrots, 5 slices of ginger, 2 stalks of scallions, cook until the aroma comes out. Add the chicken, broccoli, sauce, and mix well. Lastly add 1 teaspoon of corn starch with 2 tablespoons of water to thickening the sauce.
